I thought somehow this was a bit bigger then it was size of a grapefruit was hoping for a larger one you have to open the globe and select a color red white or blue it does not rotate thru colors.More detail ...

Finally a Pool Light!

After having a pool for 11 years now we have endured pool light problems from the start. The installed pool light requires a new lamp every year. No matter how much you use it - you will burn out the lamp in one year. Until we found online resources we were paying $20.00 for a replacement lamp each year. Then of course after 5 years - the socket of the in-pool light gave out and we had to have the whole unit replaced - of course to dig out the old one and snake in a new one was upwards of $300.00. And still you had to buy a new lamp each year. 4 years later this light socket gave up the ghost and we were so tired of this cycle that I started researching this light. Now I'll admit I've only had it for a couple of weeks but it has done everything and more! We have a 22' X 35' "L" shape pool and I was hesitant that this light would light up the whole pool. It Does! And it does no matter where it is! It floats around and lights up everything perfectly! One warning - you can't submerse this light - so you aren't going to be able to use it if you have children canon balling into the pool... and the instructions do warn you of this. For the price - which is skyrocketing lately it is a much better replacement alternative to replacing your installed pool light. More detail ...

Surprisingly good pool light

This floating light works very well. We have an 18-foot diameter above-ground pool and this light brightly illuminates the entire pool. It has 64 white LEDs and is much brighter than we expected. It looks very cool floating around like a flying saucer. It lasts about four hours between charges (which is a fair amount of after-dark pool time) and takes about 12 hours to recharge. The other options we've seen are wired over-the-pool-wall plug-in lights that are not nearly as bright as this and cost more. Great Pool Light

This little floating light is really very well designed and does a great job of lighting up the whole pool. Our pool is 12' X 24' and at night the whole pool is beautifully illuminated. Much nicer than I expected. More detail ...

Light is very dim

I was excited to get this thinking it would light up like the picture shows. Well I should know better than that. I bought the green jellyfish and while it does light up you can hardly see it unless it is pitch black outside even then it does not light up the water at all and now my jelly is floating sideways. Works only in pitch black lighting and small radius

Purchased this product for a night time pool party. The product worked fine and made some cool patterns but for the lights and pattern to show in the pool there can be no lighting at all. The pool and area around it need to be pitch black which makes it impossible for people to see around the pool. My pool is about 40 ft long 18 ft wide and 6 ft deep. The radius for the lights is only about 10 ft around so I would have needed 4 or 5 to cover the whole pool. Disappointing. If you have a small poll or hot tub think about it.More detail ...

Not as nice as it looks

I purchased this for a pool party. It is not as nice as I thought it would be. The fountain goes up and downmostly down on it's own. It spins to the edge of the pool(I know they say it can be thetheredhowever that creates a problem because it spins)It goes thru cycles on it's own and completely stops sometimes and then picks back up.Also the colors & lights don't show all the way to the bottom of the pool and my pool is only 5ft deep.overall it is not as nice as the description makes it out to be.More detail ...

These are wonderful....if you buy a bunch of them. I bought one and it didn't cover the whole pool like it says it does. So I went back and bought 3 more. It looks really neat now but there are 4 of these things floating around in a 10foot round pool.More detail ...
